Hydration - Getting to know more

Why is it so important to avoid dehydration?
Your body depends on water for survival. Did you know that water is more than half the weight of the body? Every cell, tissue and organ in our body needs water to function properly. For example, the body uses water to keep its temperature, waste management and the lubrication of joints. Water is essential for good health.

As my body loses water?
We lose water every day when you go to the bathroom, then, and even when you breathe. You lose water more quickly when the weather is very hot when you exercise, or if you have a fever. Vomiting and diarrhea can lead to rapid loss of fluids. If you replace the water you lose, you can become dehydrated.

How much water should you drink every day? There are different recommendations for water intake each day. Most people said that they should be drinking August 6 to 8 glasses of water each day, which is a reasonable goal. However, different people need different amounts of water to avoid dehydration. Most healthy people can stay well hydrated drinking water and other liquids when you feel thirsty. For some people, less than eight points may be enough, but for others it may be more.
Some people are at higher risk of dehydration, including those that receive a lot of physical exercises have certain medical conditions, sick or could not get enough fluids during the day. The elderly are at increased risk. With age, the brain is not able to sense dehydration and send signals of thirst.
If you are concerned that may not be drinking enough water, check your urine. If the urine is always colorless or pale yellow, it could stay and dehydration.

Hydration Back Pack - What is it?

A hydration pack is a type of hydration system built as a backpack or waistpack containing a reservoir or "bladder" commonly made of rubber or flexible plastic. The reservoir contains a capped mouth for filling with liquid and a hose that allows the wearer to drink hands-free. Most hoses end with a "bite valve" that opens when the user bites down on it; the valve may be protected by a dust cover. Some hydration packs are insulated to keep water from freezing or becoming warm. Reservoir sizes commonly range from 1.5 to 3.0 litres.

Hydration pack is very popular today. This is a great method for both athelete and sports lover to enjoy their moments with this hydration pack.
